The eternal city it is not only the queen of the antiquity but it is living an outgoing process to become one of the capitals of contemporary art.
This is the aim of many people who work to organize a new Contemporary Art Fair, under the name of “Roma – The road to contemporary art”, with the purpose to create a sort of huge market-exhibition with the participation of 80 galleries, mostly coming from abroad. |
It will be a very unique show with goods and masterpieces from all over the world, in prestigious locations as Palazzo Venezia, Santo Spirito in Sassia, Palazzo Rospigliosi, Terme di Diocleziano. These and other places will become the stage for the most important shows and art-exhibitions of the world with the ambition to make Rome the international capital of art.
Many of the brilliant and famous architects of the world have been asked to realize modern and significant spaces, such as the Macro and the Maxxi by the Iraqi Zaha Hadid.
In all artistic fields changes and innovations are daily events: figurative arts, music, theatre and cinema witness a relevant chain of appointments and projects in progress.
